June First Friday Fireworks on River Street

My friends, fireworks + body of water = double the show! HWYD loves that Savannah has fireworks every month. It's a great experience for adults and kids alike, and River Street is a fantastic venue for a good dinner, an evening stroll through the First Friday activities, and the best free light show around! The fabulous display starts at 9:00pm on Friday.

River Street Seafood Fest

The Savannah Riverfront hosts some incredible free community events, and the evolution of the Seafood Festival is at the top of the list. In addition to the INCREDIBLE food, you'll be treated to lots and lots of live music, arts and crafts presented by nationally-known artists and artisans, and a fishing tournament. All day May 2-3. So much fun! We might even see you there!

Armed Services Festival on River Street

The Savannah Riverfront is hosting an event to honor the United States Armed Forces just ahead of Memorial Day. Like their other community events, you can expect a full celebration with arts and crafts, live music, and some seriously good eatin'. Proceeds from the event benefit the Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation. Get on down to River Street and show your appreciation for the folks who make freedom look so easy. Show your patriotism May 16-18.
