March First Friday Fireworks on River Street

My friends, fireworks + body of water = double the show! HWYD loves that Savannah has fireworks every month. It's a great experience for adults and kids alike, and River Street is a fantastic venue for a good dinner, an evening stroll through the First Friday activities, and the best free light show around! The fabulous display starts at 9:00pm on Friday.

Ink & Elm in Emory Village is tops in our book. A sprawling space with bar, leather high back chaired lounge and oversized booths in the large dining room. Try the Wagyu carpaccio with eggs delightfully deviled with caviar. So delicious!

Rocks on the River

While Rocks on the River is best known for the späztli (tiny Swiss-German dumplings of deliciousness), we could barely part with the fried green tomatoes topped with goat cheese crumbles, jalapeño ranch dressing, and chopped tomatoes. Wow!
