The Simply Delicious series will focus on local, fresh produce and our fabulous chefs Jennifer Weissman, Jerilynn Bedingfield, and Charli Vogt who are all active Atlanta foodies. The kickoff cookoff event and open house will be on August 20 at the Decatur Recreation Center. The open house will feature cooking demonstrations and tastings. Free The show starts at 7:00 PM

Breakfast buffet at Whole Foods
Breakfast at Whole Foods. That's right. Perfect way to start a busy day. Especially if you have grocery shopping in mind. Head on over to Whole Foods in Buckhead and get a plate of breakfast at the hot bar. Eggs. Bacon. Biscuits. Bagels. Lox. Cream cheese. Coffee. Fruit. French toast. Quiche. It's all good. Take your iPad and make your grocery list while you chow down. $10 per person.

Kitchenalia Shopping at Lenox Mall
Kitchenalia shopping at Lenox Mall. Kitchenalia is a word. It means "cooking equipment and other items found in a kitchen," according to the Free Online Dictionary. And, it's such a good word. Gives you a good feeling, just thinking about it. Especially if you're a foodie/cook of any kind. Anyway, if you're like us, you have a need to kitchenalia shop on frequent occassions. Maybe it's time to go check out a new carving knife, or that food processor you've had your eye on. Well, the place to start is Williams Sonoma at Lenox Mall. Just the other day, I got a knife dock. Know what that is? Check out the picture below. It's so useful! Way better than one of those wood blocks you see most knives in. Keeps all your knives safe and secure. The show starts at 10:00 AM
